  1. Weather Effects

    It would be awesome if some weather effects could be randomly added to the maps (such as rain or very heavy fog) so that once you load in there is a small chance of inclement weather affecting the gameplay.

    Like rain would dampen out some of the ambient sounds so that things like enemy AI would need to be closer in order for you to hear them. With the heavy fog, it would just make it much harder to see things at a great distance so you could be walking right up on enemies and not notice until they are…

    Update 2.1 sees the introduction a new fog setting that shows off the swamps of Louisiana in all its foggy glory. This setting challenges players with reduced visibility while facing the dangers of the swamp.

    This update will be on the test server throughout this week, so keep an eye for updates to give it a try.

  2. Show Exit Markers on the map only when banishing starts

    To prevent exit-camping, the exit locations should only be revealed when the boss has been killed and gets banished. The exits are still already there and can still be found on the map before that, but are simply not visible on the map before banishing.

    We are setting this to “under review” as we think that this concept could be incorporated into a nightmare mode. There are no definite plans but it is an idea we will keep in mind while we are looking into things like this.

    If we have more updates we will let you know, but for now, we shall at least keep it in mind.

  3. Add more PVE content on the map and make the enemys faster,more dangerouse and more numerous

    There are only 5 teams with 2 player each on the map and the map is pretty big(which is a good thing , i dont want the map to be any smaller). But because of that the enemy density can feel very low at times. I feel there need to be more different creatures, which should be also more dangerouse and move way quicker then they do now. So that you must really be carefull how you move through the map and look constantly around you so that you do not get suprised by the monsters.

  4. More incentive to search houses

    As of now, there is almost nothing to encourage players from looting houses. There are only 4 things to be found in houses and basically none of them are worth the risk:
    -Ammo
    -Oil Lamps
    -Melee Weapons
    -Health kits
    I would say put some consumables in the houses scattered here and there such as dynamite sticks and vitality shots. Perhaps, even have some sort of side quest or hidden objective that allows the player to acquire stuff such as other weapons. OR just put weapons in. Either way, interiors are done perfectly but there is scarce reason to explore them.

    1) Hunter Footprints - Lasting for X amount of time.

    2) Bullet Casing's Scattered On The Ground.

    3) Foilage Has Been Disturbed - Indicating Hunter Or Something Has Passed Through.

    4) Used Consumables lying Around.

  6. Night Maps Give Increased XP & Money

    If the Night Maps are going to stay as being optional, then the best way to get more people to willingly chose to play at night time is to increase the rewards for choosing to play them.

    Something as simple as doubling the amount of XP & Money earned would probably be enough to entice more people to want to play at night.

  7. After game ends, tracking map

    Could be awesome, when you're in the reward screen after game, to have a mini map with movements done by all players, when they killed/banish bosses, etc. (like in Evolve)

    Boss Rush Solution
    To help give everyone a chance to find and kill the boss and slow down the boss rush problem, here's some ideas
    1. Bosses should decrease in Strength and Health as you find the clues. 300% clue 1, 200% clue 2, 100% clue 3.
    In this way, even if you get lucky and find the boss in the first compound, you will have to come back later after you find the clues. This could be tiered even more if you get people who just stand in the doorway and shoot forever, like 500%-300%-100%. Point is, you will…

  9. CROWS OR SOMETHING DIFFERENT

    Can we get something different at night other than crows? Owls being spooked out of trees perhaps? Feral Cats hissing? **** i'd settle for a pile of snakes over having to avoid another murder of crows.

    Owls: Only at night. They sit in trees and, like the current crows, can be spooked by hunters passing under them or making noise near them.

    Cats: Night and Day. Sitting under houses? On fences? mostly found near compounds they hiss (or whatever) when disturbed

  10. Campaign, "Big Hunts" and Events

    Campaign idea:
    The campaign would be missions which you could do alone or with up to 3 other friends, but it gets more difficulty with more people. The missions wouldn't be just 15 min missions for speedrunners, they should be up to an hour long where you have to use your brain. Each campaign has multiple "special" items to kill the boss, heal/boost yourself and solfe puzzles. It would be cool if there were difficultys from easy to hard AND a legendary difficulty for all tryhards with too much time. Some ideas for the missions:

  11. Weapon pickups scattered around the map.

    We have a axe and a sledgehammer as weapon pickups we can find through the hunt that then we abandon after extraction. I've made a post about melee weapons issue here: https://feedback.huntshowdown.com/forums/908848-general-feedback/suggestions/33160009-melee-weapons-balance but TL:DR they aren't worth picking up in most if any scenarios. If we could find an actual flamethrower or a heavy machine gun with limited ammo then that would make a whole lot more sense.   12. It would be cool if it were just a bit SCARIER

    I feel as though, naturally as the game progresses and AI becomes a bit better the game will organically become scarier. As of now though, I see great potential in this game and would love to see the horror aspect of it pop out a bit more. The first ever "horror battleroyale" should be bomb and I think you guys can pull it off. Like others have said, Smarter AI, more monsters, faster movements. Overall though, This game is great

  13. No crows at night

    Crows are diurnal so there shouldn't be any flocks out on the roads at night. This would also help add some needed variety in gameplay between day/night missions making night missions faster and more aggressive (easily to stealth).

  14. dead monster's bodies should not dissapear

    Any good hunter should be able to follow a trail, so if the monster's bodies don't disappear from the map, you'll able to track other hunters more efficiently.

  15. Please make nights dark again, or make a darker night version.

    The current night map has been brightened to a state where it's basically a re-skinned daytime. There's no reason to ever use lights, since even interiors are brightly lit.

  16. Dynamic Day/Night In some matchs with dynamic wheater in all matchs.

    I mean the presense of dawns and sunsets in some matchs. And dynamic wheater in all matchs for example:
    - If the match last 60 min would be 10 min of night or day and then 10 of sunset or dawn and the rest the day or night secuence.
    - All with dynamic wheater of course, for example could be 5 or 10 mins of heavy rain or maybe 20 or maybe all the match with heavy, medium or light rain. Maybe mixed with fog or very sunny.

  17. Dynamic in game map that fits the game atmosphere.

    I hate the current map as it takes you away from the game emersion and does not fit the game atmosphere.

    It would be better if the map was on a canvas roll that you see the Hunter roll out when selected in game. points of interest would smoulder into life every time you open it as obviously the map has some sort of magical properties.
    The Hunter could also fold the map up and hold it in one hand in the way of a mini map.

  18. Training Map

    I would love some kind of training map you could play solo with moving targets and unlimited ammo. That way you could try a new weapon without alerting everyone around you in a normal game. You also would be able to familiarize with bullet speed, recoil and aiming.

  19. Discoverable map

    Maybe it would be a nice mechanic if you only saw the part of the map you spawn on and then discover the rest by exploring.
    This could add new mechanics:
    - randomly generated maps.
    - when you kill another hunter you acquire their discovered part of the map along with their discovered clues.

  20. Random Clue Location

    Thus far, I've noticed that the clue locations are static. If this is the case, they should increase the number of clues, on the map, then set a % chance of that clue being placed on map creation. While it seems fun at the moment, I worry that static clue locations (and spawn locations) will create very predictable paths for campers.
