To clarify, are you selecting solo and the random mission or the one marked "solo event"?
Thanks for the ongoing feedback in this thread. We have continued our efforts with this and are improving the gun sounds overall. We are still trying to keep a good balance between realism and readability. This includes performing a pass on the interior gunshot reflections and overall consistency of shooting a weapon when both indoors and outdoors.
We will keep you updated as we make further improvements.AdminRick - " Ic3man2k" (Community Manager, Crytek) supported this idea ·
Please make 2 queues for random teams and arranged teams. Using external voice chat gives a tremendous advantage. Arranged teams will mostly try to use external voice comms in order to gain an advantage, while solo players will be more likely to use the internal voice comms (if any at all) so that they can effectively try and communicate with their random team mates.
I thought a long time about it and a solid (probably not best) solution is to queue arranged teams with arranged teams and random teams with random teams.
Add an intelligent opponent that's not completely gone mad, or turned into one of the monsters, but retains some of his humanity. Enough to shoot a gun and it'd be even cooler if he had a pack of dogs following him.
Adding to this you could have a compound where the intelligent opponent is located. He could either up on a vantage point and defends his farm or whatever by activating traps or turning on a generator while still having a gun to shoot as you enter the compound.
As some of you may have seen from our recent streams, as well as the roadmap: https://www.huntshowdown.com/roadmap we plan to add a custom lobby to the game. This should allow options like joining with friends or even going on your own. We will have more details to come in the near future, so keep an eye out for updates. Thanks for all your feedback.
Allow the option for custom games in Hunt. This would allow hosts to adjust the settings for the map and game (e.g: health, damage, amount of monsters, amount of bounty targets, VoIP always on, etc.).
In these game modes you should not be able to earn money or XP, but having the option to tweak the game settings will allow for more variation and can even be used to test specific types of game modes in the future.
Hunters, good news we just went live on the Test Server with our new game mode Quickplay. More game modes will come in the future, please keep an eye out on the future roadmap.
A really nice feature would be having a form of a raid style game mode. This would involve a group of about 4 to 6 hunters, main purpose would be to hunt the bounty as with the current game, but it would just be a lot harder and allow for bigger groups to be formed.
This could also be made into a variation of the current mode, where it is 2 teams of 4/5 hunters facing off against each other and a larger target with a much larger health pool.
