    While we are in Early Access, we will be making a number of balance changes to the AI as well as other aspects of the game. Over the last few months we have made changes to the Hive (added a strong defensive swarm) and recently we changed how the Armoured is affected by compact bullets, and increased their vulnerability to shotguns.

    We will continue to make changes to the AI as we progress as we have more changes in the works. Be sure to keep a eye on the future patch notes for more details.

    Update 2.1 sees the introduction a new fog setting that shows off the swamps of Louisiana in all its foggy glory. This setting challenges players with reduced visibility while facing the dangers of the swamp.

    This update will be on the test server throughout this week, so keep an eye for updates to give it a try.

    I think night is even better than day with normal rewards, makes it scary and more exciting. Shroud and Ska played it at night and they both liked it a lot more.

    We are setting this to “under review” as we think that this concept could be incorporated into a nightmare mode. There are no definite plans but it is an idea we will keep in mind while we are looking into things like this.

    If we have more updates we will let you know, but for now, we shall at least keep it in mind.

    We have merged a number of the in-game voice feedback posts together so that we can share our thoughts regarding the decision-making and background in terms of in-game communications and 3rd party VOIP programs.

    We knew from the beginning that players would use external comms systems, and when it comes to forcing something like this, there is no way for us – from both a technical and legal standpoint – to control something like this.

    There are many different VOIP systems that are used (Discord, Teamspeak, Skype etc.), specifically when it comes to competitive multiplayer gaming, and now, even the major distribution platforms such as Steam offer a built-in voice communication system.

    So instead of attempting to reinvent the wheel, we thought about how we can offer an additional layer of communication that suits the game play and supports random teams. The answer to this is 3D positioning and attenuation,…

    We want people to have the possibility to check peoples identity in the future. This will be planned for our 1.0 update. We will update the roadmap in the near future.
