    One thing must be said: it's one of the nicest things this game has not knowing if someone is dead or not and having to go check. So please don't make info and too much stuff being feeded to the player... so no.. dnt make stuff TOO clear, just Realistic (as it seems already to be)

    Creating routinary things, like fragging repetitive things, all being sure would take this game away from the Realism it has. The immersion would go. It would become just another change skin replica FPS which is totally not. I dn't wanna be ALWAYS just sometimes when I see him\her dropping, that the other player is dead, if there is a wall I don't know if has been hit or dead. SO no don't tell us with a sound nor else. OR at least don't make it too clear.

    We have merged a number of the in-game voice feedback posts together so that we can share our thoughts regarding the decision-making and background in terms of in-game communications and 3rd party VOIP programs.

    We knew from the beginning that players would use external comms systems, and when it comes to forcing something like this, there is no way for us – from both a technical and legal standpoint – to control something like this.

    There are many different VOIP systems that are used (Discord, Teamspeak, Skype etc.), specifically when it comes to competitive multiplayer gaming, and now, even the major distribution platforms such as Steam offer a built-in voice communication system.

    So instead of attempting to reinvent the wheel, we thought about how we can offer an additional layer of communication that suits the game play and supports random teams. The answer to this is 3D positioning and attenuation,…

    I suggested an idea regarding the USE OF NUMPAD- for something like giving (visual) directions to a team mate etc.
    The numpad should be an option even if it gets the hands off the controls.
    THis is a not "super fast" FPS but a different thing: a tactical shooter sandbox so it could be viable even if a bit boring to move the hands off ...

    This is my idea.

    No radial no other things on the screen.. kills the immersion. No stuff on the map (like markers) unless they are done with Cigar burns...

    Hey everyone,

    Sound is an important feedback indicator of HUNT; we definitely have plans to improve what is referred to as “sound propagation” in the game.
    The described issue is called “occlusion”: The sound should not be audible if there is a solid wall between the listener and the source as described here.

    We have already tackled the first steps: the underground areas are marked with a special surface type now which is set up to fully dampen the sound if between the listener and the emitter.

    Our next step will be to adjust the various audio sources to check this condition via a ray cast between the emitter and listener. Once this is in place, we will extend the dampening to also have a more realistic “obstruction” effect.

    Yeah i get why they did it... The reis the BUtcher boss in the MADONNA NOIRE CHAPEL - that is below ground but looks like it is outside in the courtyard. I was with another player and we took some time to find that out.. scary stuff :)

    Happy they gonna work on this.
    SOund is a pillar of this game.

    YEs why not slowing down the movement if a hunter reloads but also think that these players are hunters we are playing as experienced hunters in the bayoux .. so we even know how to reaload. blinded

    Instead of this I told them into another TOPIC to create the "REVENGE contract" mechanic. SO that hunters develop a war of revenge also between them or also other people can go fulfill this WANTED mission.
    Also team killing can become a cool thing since it develops these dynamics. This would be cool in a second phase of the game. not right now.
    To revive the interest in the game and create even more fun.

    I prefer (of course my idea) to this disincentive to kill that should not be there.
    IF you don't want to kill u just don't kill and let ppl pass.

    It's already there.
    IF you make the extracting player move away the count down goes awway and they lose the escape and will stay on the map.
    Just make them move.

    I love this one. Hiding who you killed could be important... maybe few would use it.
    Anyway cool idea.
    So cool anyway looking at those bodies on the ground knowing there was sombody and did not made it.
    Hiding that would reduce this pleasure ("map is alive"). But still it could be a good feature for "assassin" role played by some gamers.

    Lol.. it can be an idea :) And then the horse dies spectacularly also without any notice after even few meters or if one shots gets you.

    Most downvoted things besides other game braking ideas here and there and also just second to the "electronic Arts" StarWars battlefront II handling.

    LOL.

    Don't do this, aahahh this game is a masterpiece. and has to give tension to the players. Just act like u should do. Maybe the server should allow someone to get in the map if after 15 minutes one is just alone or a team is alone (always for 15 minutes).
    Otherwise you know that there is nobody else there...

    But mine is just a masochist idea I guess ... I love hardcore games.

    Update 2.1 sees the introduction a new fog setting that shows off the swamps of Louisiana in all its foggy glory. This setting challenges players with reduced visibility while facing the dangers of the swamp.

    This update will be on the test server throughout this week, so keep an eye for updates to give it a try.

    Please keep this game not a routine, keep this game random, very bayoux style not a REPLICA COPY of every FPS this is a tactical shooter for real, not a fragging game.
    Please keep the game as it is.
    IT has to be cluncky it is not like super speed game. It's like in reality.
    To take a shot u need two finger movements (syringe) to shoot u need between 3 and 4 things to do: hold gun, raise it, aim, and push trigger. SAme is for the game.

    Try to get this. you will enjoy the game.

    I love it like this. I feel like I have a gun in my hands.
    USe a pistol if u can't hold the rifle... it is heavy of course.

    Centering it kills the game diversity, uniquiness, style, bayou, flavor...
    IT also allow people to put a sticker on the screen (as every pro fragger does) and so you have automatic aim when "changing weapon" and you will be able to frag faster then others.

    I do not like this.

    DO NOT VOTE IT.
    This is not a fragging game. This is a real IMMERSIVE game.

    Make instead the Center different for every weapon!

    With Patch 2, we have introduced Bear traps – a new world item that can be found around the map and placed as a trap. This feature is currently available on the Test server (Please keep an eye on our discord for updates on when the Tet server will be live).     I hope you will allow us (as I did once suggested) to destroy stilt house poles or even Barn house walls to create holes, or rig Trees to create diversive\obstacles for pursuing teams or diversive to make people get scared. (big noise, and then a crumbling tree with all the leaves falling etc...).

    We need charge type and power 4 charges to do that (we might even be able to find these items in game and craft the explosive candles there) not just buy in the shop before.

    So Please allow us some "procedural destruction" (maybe gonna get the game to buggy?)

    Following on from our last update, the report function and code of conduct have been added. While this will not prevent it from occurring altogether this is just one step towards improving this situation. We will continue to look at ways of improving the matchmaking system and try to prevent people from teaming by gaming the queue system

    We are setting this to “under review” as we think that this concept could be incorporated into a nightmare mode. There are no definite plans but it is an idea we will keep in mind while we are looking into things like this.

    If we have more updates we will let you know, but for now, we shall at least keep it in mind.

    This game is abt strategy too! this is what makes it impossible to be resisted.
    No.. let ppl know. Maybe just one of three can be revealed later (if all clues are done or else).
    Otherwise most has to be all shown before.

    No. Make instead the map immersive (in hands of people as someone else as suggested.. as far cry) and also allow to burn with matches or cigar a hole to point areas in the map in a ******* manner.

    As you can see, the status of this post has been updated to “planned”. Character customization is something we definitely want to introduce to Hunt but this will be a lengthy process.

    At this time we do not have any specific details of what customization options will be available, or a time frame on when this will be implemented. As we progress through Early Access, we will update the status of this topic, should we receive any further updates on the progress with customization.
