I have some ideas for a weapon/Ammo types for Crossbows.
1) Besides the common fire arrow/bolt(sets people and Ai on fire),
2) And Whistling arrow/bolt(makes a loud whistling sound while flying, Maybe you can set 1 of 4 different pitches for the arrows/bolt before firing, to signal your ally/s with whistling arrows).
3) Now what about a different type of Noise making arrows. Think a bunch of Strings attached to small bells on the Arrow/bolt. what this would do is. If you shoot a target with it. any time that target moved he would make sound. giving a way his location. and drawing in the AI. You could also use the Noisemaker arrow/bolt to shoot in front of a door way. or in a hallway. and if any thing Brushes against it. it would make sound. the Bells would make some sound of a Bell or Group of different sounding bells from that time period. Perhaps they sound like wind chimes. when disturbed.
If a Person is hit with the Noise maker arrow/bolt. He him self or an ally needs to Pull it out of him. To stop making noise. But the arrow is Barbed/Hooked. So it will take some time to Pull it out. Maybe 3 times the length as wrapping with Medical kit. And it makes noise the hole time your pulling it out. Unless you have an ally helping you pull it out the same time you are doing it.
You could also shoot a Fallen player with it. So if his ally comes for him. And disturbs the arrow. You will hear the chimes.
The only Problem I see with this is people may use it just for seal clubbing. There for I propose 2 changes to your idea. 1) There is a limit on how many Tutors can be in the same game Or all teams consist of 1 tutor and 1 new player. 2) All Tutors must have the same level of Gear as the ones they are teaching. Low tier/Low level Loadout.
I think you already can. if I remember right. I ether hit jump or the interact button to drop the rest of the way down. Give it a try.

Hunters, good news a new boss in coming in the near future! We’re obviously going to have more bosses following after that, more on that at a later time.
Another Bug boss idea. **** Hives. It's like a Paper wasp nest in a building. And there are Over sized Wasps Guarding it. You don't get the bounty until all wasps are slain. Wasps have a Poison stinger. And can fly. As well as wall walk. And they are not above swarming you if you attack their nest. Also they will swarm to the location of any dead Wasp. and they are not above leaving the Hide out. To chase down and ether kill or drive off players. Also if a player is downed near the hind out. The Wasps will come for him. And Take the body to feed the larvae. Each player feed to the **** Hive larvae will spawn more new wasps.
O. these are really big wasps
not like the Hive ladies
You would get the bounty by destroying the Hive it's self.
But if you don't kill all the wasps. they will repair the Hive.
Scorpion. Tougher then spiders. slower. And has a Poison stinger. It has 2 pincers that act like Bear traps. one way to get the pincers off. Is to Put enough damage on the scorpion. he will let go. and take cover. The scorpion does ambush tactics. So he will wait next to a door. Or behind cover. and attack you when he see you. also the scorpion can sense the location of all players in and around the building. But he can only sense them if they move or interact with things. Throwing certain things in front of him could cause him to attack that thing. thinking it's you.
A ghost ship would also be a fun boss. it would have undead pirates. that use single shot pistols. and sabers for melee. They would be on or around their ship. the ship will only appear if you get close enough to it. also it would move locations. Kinda like teleporting to new locations every so often. if you try to snipe Crew off the ship from a distance. they will point their cannons at you and fire. Well. assuming you are in range to see the ghost ship. The Pirate captain is the one that spawns the bounty tokens.

But could be docked with a building/structure.
Another boss idea. Cultis . They are like common Hunters. With random gear. They are all around an altar. the altar lours in all other NPC enemies in the area. The common enemies will stop coming to the Boss hide out if you destroy the altar. You must kill all Cultis and the Altar to spawn the Bounty. The Bounty will spawn at the altar.
What if they Human NPCs are like Lepers or some things. Diseased and deranged enemies
hmm. should the Cultis Be X hunters who have dead. and that's why they use fire arms
I guess We could always have the cultis look like some other undead enemies. And perhaps they should use Black magic. You know Voodoo Swamp people's magic. XD With some Classic Fire ball throwing or some thing. Maybe they should weld Fire sabers. XD
Or poisoned daggers
perhaps they should have a lot of traps around their Hide out
Since they are smarter. then other undead. And they maybe (the leaders of the undead/Cause of the corruption spreading)

Well. a Werewolf, Thunder bird or Headless Horsemen would also make for some good roaming bosses
A werewolf. Would turn killed players in to werewolf minoins. XD
So the more players loss to it. the worse it gets for players who are still alive. And the Werewolf would roam/hunt for players.
but would have a chance of running a way. if it takes too much damage.
And about the Thunder Bird idea. It would be a Boss. that is flying in the sky. and would Dive bomb people. Not sure if it should have lightning capability
As for the Headlesshorsemen. He would ride a undead Horse. And do cavalry Charges at players. He would also be a roaming boss. Roaing bosses. can be tracked by finding clues. Or perhaps they should be changed from the name clues. to finding Trails/tracks. same idea. but since they are a roaming boss. You could call the clue some thing else. and make it seem different in a way. Another boss idea. An over sized Vampire bat. Will sit in the woods. hanging around. untill a player gets near it. or it is desterbed like from weapons fire. The back of the vampire bat. and the back of it's wings take redused damage. so when it raps up. it take far less damage. The Vampire bat will regen it's health. when it attacks you. and can carrie off players. seperating teams. it will also fly away from players if it takes too much damage or is too low on HP. The Bat can feed on NPCs. to regain health as Well. So you have to keep at the beast. At take it out. prolonged fights are not in your favor.
With Update 2.1, we have introduced 2 new traits:
Bolt Seer Trait – Highlights Bolts and Throwing Knives for better visibility.
Bolt Thrower Trait – Reduces the time to reload Crossbows.
These have been added in conjunction with the Crossbows and throwing knives that will also be present with Update 2.1.
This is a new trait idea. Called Lunge or Fencer or some thing that relates. This trait would make it so if you are facing an enemy. and you do a charge attack with in a certain range. You lunge forward to attack that enemy. Making it so if you were not in range before. You are now with your attack. This would help players with melee combat. And make it so if you were just out of range with your melee attack. You are able to still hit the target.
I think shoulder lamps should be used to locate things in the dark. Whether under Ground in day or night. Or on the surface at night. So what the lamps would do. is allow you to highlight things farther away. At night. You need to be really close to locate an ammo box or Medkit by highlighting it. But with the lamp on. They and all other highlight able things are highlighted at a much greater range away. also I think they should apply to bear traps. So bear traps will never highlight at night with out a Shoulder lamp active. and shining on them.
I really could care less about the Frames Per second. But the constent lag/Freezes that take place in the game are Horrid and game Braking. Having your game lag out almost every time there is a fight. whether it's VS the AI Or Players. It's simply a game over. at that point. and your lucky to go a play through with out it lagging out for like 5-15 sec. DX How the **** is one suppost to play with that kinda thing Going on. The only way to reduce the chances of this happening is to lower my Graphics to the lowest possible. DX And there are times when I'm just walking around or traveling. And it would lag out for like 5 sec. really that's all it takes to die. 5 sec against AI is Horrid. And against players just game over. DX
